Schools Workshops

I work directly and alongside art teachers to incorporate a system of ideas development into the existing curriculum projects.

I have worked closely with Colfe's in Catford and Prendergast Ladywell Fields College in Brockley for the last three years helping students improve their ability to research and develop a project more fully to maximise the quality of outcome using my experience of making work for the public realm.

In my first workshop I bring in a real project where I have created a large scale architectural glass artwork for a building. I talk students all through the project explaining the stages from brief to research and development with drawings and sketches, then a model with samples and finally, I show images of the final artwork.

Through proper project development students learn essential and transferable life skills in realising an idea from nothing to completion. This can be utilised in any future work situations.
